PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type endoscope device capable of creating an endoscope image having a wide dynamic range while securing real time property of image.SOLUTION: A scanning type endoscope device 1 comprises: a driver unit 22 for driving a tip end of an illumination fiber 12 so that spotlight for an under image and over image performs one time scanning spirally on a subject a controller 25 for controlling a light source so that the spotlight for the under image and over image is sequentially emitted discretely while the tip end of the illumination fiber 12 is driven for the one time scanning and a HDR (High Dynamic Range) composition part 49 for creating a composite image using an image signal of the under image created from return light of the spotlight for the under image in the one time scanning, and an image signal of the over image created from return light of the spotlight for the over image in the one time scanning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
