A solid base material for external use on skin containing a lipid peptide compound including at least one of compound of Formula (1), the similar compound thereof and the pharmacologically usable salts thereof； water； and a 1,3-alkanediol；wherein R1 is a C9-23 aliphatic group； R2 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group optionally having a C1 or C2 branched chain； and R3 is a —(CH2)n—X group, wherein n is a number from 1 to 4, and X is amino group, guanidino group, -CONH2 group, or a 5-membered ring group or 6-membered ring group optionally having one to three nitrogen atoms or a fused heterocyclic group composed of the 5-membered ring and the 6-membered ring.
