PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a driving device which is used as a stopping or locking means for a pin with a fixing means (1) for fixing bone fragments of a broken bone.SOLUTION: The driving device includes a first member (13) which has a male screw (14) and an engaging surface (15) and a second member (16) which is provided at one end of the first member. A driving means (12) is made connectable with a sleeve (2) by inserting the first member (13) into an opening rear end part (4) of the sleeve cooperating with a female screw (17) of the sleeve and by making the engaging surface (15) of the first member engage with the rear part (18) of the pin (10). The driving means (12) drives the pin toward the driving direction in relation to the sleeve by screwing the first member (13) of the driving mens (12) into the sleeve (2) at the same time when the engaging surface (15) engages with the rear part (18) of the pin. The front part (11) of the pin (10) is driven from an opening part (9) of the sleeve (2) to a bone material of the one bone fragment.
