PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the pop-up display of a patient information or the like free from the operation of a screen saver when a nurse call is activated while eliminating an undesired display of personal information on patients.SOLUTION: The call with a nurse call slave unit is identified from others as an event for canceling the operation of the screen saver. When the call involved is determined, the operation of the screen saver is canceled solely confined to a partial area for displaying the patient information linked to the call.
