PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable local formulation that is effective in treating viral wart infection, genus Demodex folliculorum infection and bacterial infection of skin and a genital organ.SOLUTION: A local gel composition contains approximately 0.1 to approximately 10%, particularly preferably approximately 1 to approximately 5%, particularly preferably approximately 1% of povidone-iodine (PVP-I), approximately 30 to approximately 99%, preferably approximately 30 to approximately 49%, particularly preferably approximately 44% of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), approximately 1 to approximately 10%, preferably approximately 2 to approximately 5%, particularly preferably approximately 4% of gelling agent.
