The exhaust gas treatment unit (32) is placed laterally outside right or left side of the hood (6) and behind the front wheel (4), and purifies exhaust gas from the engine (7). A circular cylindrical heat shielding plate (33) covers an outer circumferential surface of the exhaust gas treatment unit (32).
