PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter capable of suppressing lifting of a land preparation device compactly and steadily.SOLUTION: A transplanter includes: lifting detection means for detecting a work state of a planting part planting a seedling in a field and a non-work state of the planting part separated upward from a field face and control means for controlling vertical position adjustment means on the basis of a detection result by the lifting detection means. A land preparation device can be controlled to a work posture preparing the field face and a storage posture separated upward from the field face through the vertical position adjustment means by the control means.
