FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and may be used for dental restoration of approximal surfaces of molars and premolars. The dental matrix made of an elastic place is presented in the form of an arch enclosing the tooth to be restored by an elastic force generated by helically-coiled ends of the plate. A method for making the matrix consists in the fact that its shape is established by traction or pulling of the ends of the semi-finished plate through between clamping rolls at an angle to the feed direction of the plate into the rolls.
