An improved infant formula resulting in reduced constipation, abdominal discomfort and gastrointestinal problem is provided, which comprises (a) at least one protein component, (b) at least one lipid component； (c) at least one prebiotic component, wherein said prebiotic component comprises galacto-oligosaccharides, and (d) one or more nucleotides.
