PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an absorbent article securing comfort of a wearer.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus of absorbent articles molds a groove-like pattern 3 by clamping an absorption mat 4 having superabsorbent polymer 4b mixed in pulp 4a, between a first roll 10 and a second roll 20 and pressing it. The manufacturing apparatus of absorbent articles includes projections 11, facing parts 21, and recesses 22. The projections 11 project into a shape corresponding to the pattern 3 on the outer periphery of the first roll 10, and press a part of the absorption mat 4 to mold the pattern 3. The facing parts 21 are provided to face the projections 11 on the outer periphery of the second roll 20, formed into a shape corresponding to the pattern 3, and press, with a part of the absorption mat 4 clamped between themselves and the projections 11. The recesses 22 are intermittently recessed at lateral sides of the facing parts 21 on the outer periphery of the second roll 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
