The present invention relates to a method for applying conjugated linoleic acid (GLAG) or derivatives thereof in preparing an acetaldehyde dehydrogenase promoting agent and an alcoholic liver damaging agent in the field of biopharmaceuticals. The present invention provides a novel use of conjugated linoleic acid or derivatives thereof, particularly GLAG, and confirmed that the GLAG and the derivatives thereof promote the activity of hepatic acetaldehyde dehydrogenase and cytochrome P450 2E1 and alleviate pathological changes in the liver and bowels caused by alcohol through animal experiments.본 발명은 바이오 의약품 분야에서 아세트알데히드 탈수소효소 촉진제 및 알코올성 간(肝) 손상 경감 제제를 제조하는 데 있어 공액리놀레산 혹은 그 유도체를 응용하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 공액리놀레산 혹은 그 유도체(특히 공액리놀레산 글리세리드(GLAG: Conjugated Linoleic Acid Glycerides)의 새로운 용도를 제시하고, 동물 실험을 통해 간장 아세트알데히드 탈수소효소와 시토크롬(Cytochrome) P450 2E1의 활성 제고 및 알코올로 인한 간장의 병리변화 경감에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.
