This invention provides a medical device for target tumor therapy using either surface plasma resonance of nanoparticle or photosensitizer excited by lasers. The system includes: a IR laser unit an external connecting delivery fiber connected to a hand piece and a temperature auto-controlled unit with feedback device to produce pulse train output laser to achieve constant tumor surface temperature increase. It may use optimally selected multiple wavelength lasers for a 3D laser therapy. The solid state laser used in this invention may be cw or pulsed mode having wavelength range of 650 to 1350 nm, output power of 0.01 to 20 W. The nanoparticles used in this invention include Au, Ag or Au/Ag combined particle having various size and shapes. It includes in particular gold nanorods with an aspect ratio of (3.0 - 10.0), or a silica-gold shell, having surface conjugated by PEG and anti-body.
