<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing nutrient components in a plant by which the content of antioxidant substance such as a reduced ascorbic acid in the plant is effectively increased to reduce a bad effect on the plant and the human body so as to inexpensively produce a health plant contributing to the human health. <；P>；SOLUTION: The method for enhancing nutrient components in a plant includes irradiating a plant with light having a wavelength of 400-410 nm from a light-emitting diode in a dark period only for a prescribed period of time when raising the plant so as to increase the content of the antioxidant substance in the plant.
