The invention relates to chimeric Plasmodium antigenic polypeptides derived from pre-erythrocytic (PE) antigens and associated in a fusion polypeptide. In particular, the invention relates to antigenic fusion polypeptides of malaria parasites wherein said antigenic polypeptides exhibit a protective effect, especially that of eliciting a protective immune response in a host against challenge by Plasmodium sporozoites or a sterile response. Such identified antigenic fusion polypeptides may thus constitute active ingredients suitable for the design of a vaccine candidate, in particular a vaccine suitable for a human host.L'invention concerne des polypeptides antigéniques de Plasmodium chimériques dérivés d'antigènes pré-érythrocytaires (PE) et associés dans un polypeptide de fusion. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne des polypeptides de fusion antigéniques de parasites du paludisme, lesdits polypeptides antigéniques présentant un effet protecteur, en particulier celui de déclencher une réponse immunitaire protectrice chez un hôte contre une stimulation par des sporozoïtes de Plasmodium ou une réponse stérile. De tels polypeptides de fusion antigéniques identifiés peuvent ainsi constituer des principes actifs appropriés pour la conception d'un vaccin candidat, en particulier un vaccin approprié pour un hôte humain.
