PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized ultrasonic probe being capable of reducing impact applied to an ultrasonic element array substrate even when impact is applied to a housing and having excellent operability.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe comprises: an ultrasonic detection section transmitting ultrasonic waves and receiving reflection waves a fixing base 5 fixed with the ultrasonic detection section a housing 11 exposing the ultrasonic detection section and being incorporated with the fixing base 5 and a first connection section 15 connecting the fixing base 5 and the housing 11 and having elasticity. The first connection section 15 comprises: a first arm portion 26 extending in a first direction 23 and a second arm portion 29 extending in a second direction 24 intersecting with the first direction 23. One end of the first connection section 15 is brought into contact with the fixing base 5, and the other end of the first connection section 15 is brought into contact with the housing 11.
