The device (12, 112) comprises a longitudinal base (14, 114) and a perpendicular protrusion (16, 116), which base comprises a plurality of downwards protruding teeth (18, 118) to interact with the frame, which base is to be placed in one or more cavities (20) below, beside or above a glass pane, which mostly perpendicular protrusion is to be placed in front of the glass pane, which base comprises at least one longitudinal projecting edge (22, 122). Hereby, the device protects a window from unauthorized access.
