PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin snare for an endoscope excellent in operability which enables a gripped capsule endoscope to smoothly pass through a pyloric ring.SOLUTION: A snare for an endoscope includes: an operation wire 2 a snare wire 3 connected to the tip of the operation wire 2 and a thread 5, one end of which is fixed to the most leading end part of the snare wire 3 when the snare wire is inserted into a snare sheath 6, the thread 5 being at least longer than the length of the snare sheath 6.
