To polish an artificial tooth equally and uniformly by a relatively simple method.SOLUTION: An artificial tooth 30 being a polishing object is fixed in the tooth cervix 32 side. Also, an elastic polishing material is injected that is formed by kneading or carrying abrasive particles in the polishing material, preferably an elastic material, along with a compressed gas of 0.1 MPa-0.5 MPa in an injection pressure from an occlusal part 31 side of the artificial tooth 30 while making it revolve centering on a tooth axis 33. The injection of the polishing material is performed by an inclination angle θ of 0-90°, preferably 15-75°, to the tooth axis 33 of the artificial tooth 30. As a result, the polishing material is made to slide on the occlusal part 31 of the artificial tooth 30 and a side surface 38, and these portions are polished at the same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】比較的簡単な方法で人工歯を均一かつ画一的に研磨する。【解決手段】研磨対象とする人工歯３０を，歯頸３２側において固定する共に歯軸３３を中心として自転させながら該人工歯３０の咬合部３１側より噴射圧力０．１MPa～０．５MPaの圧縮気体と共に研磨材，好ましくは弾性材料に砥粒を練り込み又は担持させて成る弾性研磨材を噴射する。研磨材の噴射は，人工歯３０の歯軸３３に対し０～９０°，好ましくは１５～７５°の傾斜角θで行い，これにより人工歯３０の咬合部３１と側面３８上で研磨材を滑動させてこれらの部分を同時に研磨する。【選択図】図３
