To provide a space sterilization and deodorization system in which single chlorine-based gas generating apparatus can sterilize and deodorize a plurality of rooms and operation efficiency of the chlorine-based gas generating apparatus can be improved by controlling chlorine-based gas concentration in each room.SOLUTION: The space sterilization and deodorization system for sterilizing and deodorizing a plurality of spaces as objects to be sterilized and deodorized is provided that includes: a chlorine-based gas supply unit 1 generating and supplying a chlorine-based gas; and a duct 2 connected to the chlorine-based gas supply unit 1. The duct 2 is branched, the branched ducts are then connected to respective target spaces.
