PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant deodorizing filter which is capable of obtaining excellent deodorizing performance and has sufficient flame retardant performance.SOLUTION: The deodorizing filter is formed by supporting activated carbon, phosphate and nitrogen-containing phosphorous flame retardant on a carrier, and a part of the phosphate and a part of the nitrogen-containing phosphorous flame retardant are stuck to the surface of the activated carbon. Especially, the deodorizing filter 1 is formed by supporting the phosphate and the nitrogen-containing phosphorous flame retardant on activated carbon mixed paper 2, and it is preferable that a part of the phosphate and a part of the nitrogen-containing phosphorous flame retardant are stuck to the surface of the activated carbon.
