The present invention relates to a composition based on katrafay essential oil (Cedrelopsis grevei) comprising from 20% to 40%>； by weight of ishwarane, with respect to the total weight of the composition. The composition can optionally also include limonene, in such amount that the ratio in weight ishwarane :limonene is between 50: 1 and 100: 1. The invention also relates to a formulation, comprising the composition as described above. Part of the invention is also a process for preparing the composition, as well as its use as a cosmetic, as a medicine, or as a nutraceutical supplement, in particular for the treatment of inflammation states.
