PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial rice more excellent in the flavor and texture than conventional artificial rice, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The artificial rice includes a laminate structure composed of two or more rice flour layers containing rice flour, or composed of rice flour layers only, and a coating layer which covers the laminate structure. At least one of the layers of the laminate structure has a chamfer part at edge corner to connect surfaces to each other and a hollow part, further containing a binder, a fragrance material, and a coloring agent.
