A nasal device that increases airflow through the nasal passage. By allowing the patient to breathe properly through their nose, it prevents the caustic manifestations of obligate oral breathing. It may also hold and form patent nasal airways postoperatively. It has two paired open ends. The device has a superior, inferior, lateral and medial wall. These walls enclose a breathable canal that functions to increase ventilation via the nasal cavity. The walls can have a unique shape as they reflect the same contour as the nasal anatomy and are made of an expandable polymer with or without reinforcement materials. The device can be from one to four centimeters long and goes through the full or partial nasal path. The nasal device is separate for each nostril.
