PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound dressing material that is less liable to cause troubles such as leaking of exudate.SOLUTION: The wound dressing material is a cotton-like material or nonwoven fabric made of a glass fiber containing B2O3 and CaO as a glass composition, and in which the amount of water absorption per 1 gram of cotton-like material is 15 cc or more.
