The present invention relates to a system for detecting abnormality on health, and a method thereof. The system for detecting abnormality according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a medical device which measures biometric information, generates a first message in a first protocol type comprising the measured biometric information, and transmits the first message； a gateway which when the first message is received, generates a second message in a second protocol type comprising the biometric information contained in the first message and transmits the same, and when a third message in the second protocol type is received, generates a fourth message containing information contained in the third message and transmits the same； a health state determining server which when the second message transmitted from the gateway is received, determines a health state of a user of the medical device on the basis of the biometric information contained in the second message, and transmits a diagnosis result message containing the determined result； and a user terminal which when the diagnosis result message transmitted from the health state determining server is received, outputs the health state contained in the diagnosis result message. The first protocol represents a message format used for a communication in the medical device, and the second protocol represents a standard message format for a communication between a medical device, a server and a terminal in a medical system.
