There is disclosed an anthelmintically effective composition consisting of at least one compound selected from each of the following groups: macrocylic lactones, benzimidazoles, salicylanilides and imidazothiazoles and a therapeutically acceptable carrier. Also disclosed is use of an anthelmintically effective amount of such a composition and a method for treating parasitic infections in an animal.
