To provide a combined harvester configured to assist relaying action of grain stalks from a pre-treating device for reaping side to a conveying START part of a feed chain and further smoothly receiving very short stalks for threshing treatment.
SOLUTION: The combined harvester includes an auxiliary relaying chain (9a) with a narrower width than the feed chain (22) of a threshing device (2) located ON a position inside than the conveying starting point of the feed chain (22), and configured to transmit rotating POWER to the auxiliary relaying chain (9a) through a transmission from the rear part of the pre-treating device for reaping (3), wherein a base part of a grain stalk guide rod (24) for relaying grain stalks from the pre-treating device for reaping (3) side to the auxiliary relaying chain (9a) is mounted ON a fitting component (26) ON the pre-treating device for reaping (3) side and prolonging the grain stalk guide rod (24) to rearward and locating a vertical platy part formed ON the prolonged part of the grain stalks guide rod (24) ON the upside of the auxiliary relaying chain (9a).
