PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly productively manufacture a catheter to be formed with a catheter tube including an X-ray contrast marker that is reliably prevented from coming off.SOLUTION: A catheter manufacturing method includes a first process of sheathing an internal layer tube, which is a member forming an internal layer of a catheter tube, with a cylindrical deposition member made of a thermoplastic resin, a second process of sheathing the deposition member, with which the internal layer tube is sheathed in the first process, with a cylindrical X-ray contrast marker made of a radiopaque material, a third process of sheathing the internal layer tube, which is sheathed with the X-ray contrast marker in the second process, with an external layer tube that is a heat contractile tube made of a thermoplastic resin and is a member forming an external layer of the catheter tube, heating the external layer so as to thermally contract the external layer tube, tightening the internal layer tube with the heat contractile force so as to join the internal layer tube and external layer tube, thermally depositing the external layer tube and deposition member so as to unite the external layer tube and deposition member so that the X-ray contrast marker will be embedded between them.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】脱落が高度に防止されたX線造影マーカを備えるカテーテル管で構成されるカテーテルを生産性よく製造すること。【解決手段】カテーテル管の内層を形成する部材である内層管に、熱可塑性樹脂製で筒状の溶着用部材を被せる第一の工程と、第一の工程で内層管に被せた溶着用部材上に、X線不透過材料で形成された筒状のX線造影マーカを被せる第二の工程と、第二の工程でX線造影マーカを被せた内層管に、熱可塑性樹脂製の熱収縮管であって、カテーテル管の外層を形成する部材である外層管を被せ、当該外層管を加熱することによって、外層管を熱収縮させて、その熱収縮力によって、内層管を締め付けて内層管と外層管とを接合させ、さらに外層管と溶着用部材とを熱溶着して、これらの間にX線造影マーカが埋まるように外層管と溶着用部材とを一体化させる第三の工程と、を有してなるカテーテルの製造方法。【選択図】図3
