To reduce slice-leakage artifacts.SOLUTION: An MRI system 100 includes an array RF coil 19 and a processor operatively linked to the array RF coil. The processor is configured to: receive, from the array RF coil, output signals commensurate with a simultaneous multi-slice MR imaging characterized by simultaneous multi-slice parameters and an image volume； estimate distorted regions within the image volume； minimize overlap of the distorted regions with image voxels of the image volume representing tissue to obtain optimized values of the simultaneous multi-slice parameters； configure and execute a simultaneous multi-slice imaging sequence on the basis of the optimized values of the simultaneous multi-slice parameters； and reconstruct simultaneous multi-slice images with reduced artifact presence on the basis of output signals acquired upon the execution of the simultaneous multi-slice imaging sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】スライス漏れアーチファクトを低減する。【解決手段】ＭＲＩシステム１００は、アレイＲＦコイル１９と処理部とを有する。処理部は、アレイＲＦコイルと動作可能に接続され、複数の同時マルチスライスパラメータと画像ボリュームとによって特徴付けられた同時マルチスライスＭＲ撮像に相応の出力信号をアレイＲＦコイルから受信し、画像ボリュームにおいて複数の歪み領域を推定し、画像ボリュームにおいて組織を表す複数のボクセルを有する複数の歪み領域の間の重複を最小化することにより、複数の同時マルチスライスパラメータについての複数の最適値を取得し、複数の同時マルチスライスパラメータについての複数の最適値に基づいて同時マルチスライス撮像シーケンスを構成して実行し、同時マルチスライス撮像シーケンスの実行に伴って収集された出力信号に基づいて、アーチファクトが低減された複数の同時マルチスライス画像を再構成する。【選択図】図１
