Forage baler, comprising:- means for propelling the bales to be baled, which define the direction of travel of the bale- means for feeding the baling material- means for securing the baling materialcharacterized in that the securing means arrange the baling material perpendicularly and so as to coincide with the direction of travel of the bale such that the bale is wrapped by the baling material while travelling through the baler.
