The method involves supplying steel with boron in a form of sheet metal having a width adapted to a cutting tool. Counter-blades are cut by a laser from the sheet metal. The blades are heated in a furnace and are drenched under cold press. The blades are then passed to the furnace for reheating and are maintained in the furnace till a tempering time. The blades are assembled with other components of a cage and the cage is welded. An Independent claim is also included for a cutting tool for a trimming machine.
