In an embodiment, an irrigated ablation system comprises: a probe to be inserted into a heart&prime；s chamber, wherein the probe includes an electrode, a temperature sensor to provide a temperature signal indicating the temperature of a myocardium, and an irrigation channel to irrigate the myocardium； a pump for pumping an irrigation fluid into the irrigation channel； a RF signal generator for generating RF power to be applied by the electrode to ablate the myocardium； and a controller.
