An applicator for medical intervention comprises an outer cannula comprising a longitudinal bore and at least one inner cannula being arranged in the longitudinal bore of the outer cannula and being movable relative to the outer cannula. Within such applicator it is provided that that at least one of the outer cannula (20) and the at least one inner cannula (21, 22) comprises an orientation marker (4, 4A, 4B, 4C) providing information about the position of the outer cannula (20) or the at least one inner cannula (21, 22) by using magnetic resonance imaging. In this way an applicator for medical intervention is provided which allows for an easy positioning of the applicator during a medical intervention procedure making use of magnetic resonance imaging.Un applicateur pour une intervention médicale comprend une canule externe dotée d'un alésage longitudinal et au moins une canule interne disposée dans l'alésage longitudinal de la canule externe et mobile par rapport à la canule externe.
