The present invention discloses a wood protection composition. Having the total weight of the wood protection composition as 100 wt%, it contains 2~4 wt% of preservative, 1~2.5 wt% of ethylamine, and the remains as solvent. The preservative is selected from a group consisting of copper salt, zinc salt, and a combination thereof. The copper salt may be selected from copper sulfate and copper nitrate. The zinc salt may be zinc acetate. The ethylamine may be selected from diethylenetriamine (DETA) and triethylenetriamine (TEAT). The solvent may be selected from water, alcohol or ketones. By the effects of ethylamine, the wood protection composition may be effectively permeated into woods and enhance the anti-rot capability of woods.
