PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for production of a fine particle which enable immediate acquisition of a fine particle of a specified particle size containing desired ingredients in a sealed system.SOLUTION: A fine particle production apparatus 1 comprises: a centrifuge tube 10 a cartridge 20 which includes a storage chamber 21 for storing a liquid and is inserted into the centrifuge tube 10 a droplet tube 23 provided on a surface of the cartridge 20 inserted into the centrifuge tube 10 which surface is directed to the tip side of the centrifuge tube 10 a discharge outlet 13 for a fine particle S which is provided on the tip side of the centrifuge tube 10 and a lid 43 closing the discharge outlet 13.
