A blood processing filter which comprises a sheet-type filter element, a flexible container in the inlet side and a flexible container in the outlet side, said flexible containers sandwiching said filter element therebetween and being sealed, and in which unprocessed blood is received through the inlet port that is provided in the flexible container in the inlet side and the blood having been processed by the filter element is discharged through the outlet port that is provided in the flexible container in the outlet side.
