PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope in a new structure capable of accurately acquiring detailed video information in a wide range.
SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope includes: a cylindrical transparent body 3 wherein at least the observation window of a cylindrical part is transparent a body part 2 which is connected to the transparent body a rotating body 4 which is rotated around a center axis inside the transparent body 3 and the body part 2 and moved in the center axis direction an objective mirror 16 which is provided on the rotating body 4 and reflects incident light through an objective lens 17 provided on a position facing the cylindrical part of the transparent body 3, in the direction of the body part 2 the objective lens 17 which makes the incident light advance to the mirror 16 as a parallel luminous flux an imaging element 27 which is fixed and installed to the body part 2, and receives the reflected light of the mirror 16 a driving means 28 which is provided inside the body part 2, rotationally drives the rotating body 4 and also drives it in the center axis direction and a magnification correction means 25 which corrects an image size after image processing to a prescribed size when fetching the imaging signals of the imaging element 27 and performing the image processing.
