PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopsy needle securely cutting off a tissue taken into an outer needle from other tissues.SOLUTION: The tissue A is held between a first movable part 12a and the inner surface of the outer needle 11 by deforming the first movable part 12a of a collection needle 12 toward the center in the radial direction by a contracted part 11b on the distal end side of the outer needle 11, and the tissue A is gripped by deforming a second movable part 12b of the collection needle 12 by the contracted part 11b so that the diameter of the second movable part 12b is reduced.
