PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation generator having a radiation generating unit 100 for emitting radiation from a radiation generating tube 103 provided in a housing container 101 through a window portion 104 provided to the housing container 101, a reflection face for reflecting visible light therefrom and transmitting radiation therethrough, and a light source 109 for visible light for simulating and displaying a radiation irradiation field based on the radiation emitted from the radiation generating unit 100 as a visible light irradiation field based on the visible light reflected from the reflection face 106, which enables visual pre-check of the radiation irradiation field and light-weight and compact-size design.SOLUTION: In a radiation generator, the outer surface of a window portion 104 is designed to have a chevron-shaped convex shape or chevron-shaped concave shape, reflection faces 106a, 106b are formed on the two slope surfaces constituting the chevron-shaped convex or concave shape, and light sources 109a, 109b are provided to confront the reflection faces 106a, 106b respectively and irradiate the reflection faces 106a, 106b with the visible light.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】収納容器101内に設けられた放射線発生管103から出射される放射線を収納容器101に設けられた窓部104を介して放出する放射線発生ユニット100と、可視光を反射して放射線を透過させる反射面106と、放射線発生ユニット100から放出された放射線による放射線照射野を反射面106に反射させた可視光による可視光照射野として模擬表示する可視光の光源109とを備えた放射線発生装置について、放射線照射野を可視光照射野として模擬表示することで目視で事前に確認することが可能で、しかも軽量かつ小型化できるようにする。【解決手段】窓部104の外面を山形凸面又は山形凹面とし、該山形凸面又は山形凹面を構成する2つの傾斜面にそれぞれ反射面106a,106bを形成すると共に、各反射面106a,106bに対向して設けられ、対向する反射面106a,106bにそれぞれ可視光を照射する光源109a,109bを設けた放射線発生装置とする。【選択図】図1
