Method of diagnosis of interstitial cystitis in cats, including urinalysis, differ in the fact that a physiological solution of sodium chloride in a volume exceeding the physiological volume of filling the bladder by 10 % is additionally administered into the bladder, a sample of physiological solution of sodium chloride is taken from the bladder, the amount of erythrocytes in a physiological solution of sodium chloride from the bladder and in urine is determined, and if an increase in the number of erythrocytes in a physiological solution of sodium chloride by more than 50 % compared with the content in the urine occurs, an interstitial cystitis is diagnosed.EFFECT: proposed method improves the accuracy of diagnosis of interstitial cystitis in cats.1 cl, 2 ex
