The present invention discloses an exercise system with heartbeat detection and the control method thereof. It mainly comprises a power unit, an input unit, a detection unit, a control unit and a display unit wherein the input unit capable of setting information parameter of personal physiological conditions relative to user physiological conditions. The information parameter of personal physiological conditions corresponds to a target heart rate value. The detection unit is used to detect heart rate of users instantly for generating a heartbeat index. The control unit receives information parameter of personal physiological conditions and the heartbeat index and generates a cue command by comparing received heartbeat index with a target heart rate value. The display unit generates a safe indication signal according to the cue command for reminding users to adjust exercise intensity at any time to suit their physical status.本發明係一種具心跳偵測提醒之運動系統及其控制方法，主要包含一動力單元、一輸入單元、一偵測單元、一控制單元及一顯示單元，其中，該輸入單元可設定與使用者生理條件相關的個人生理條件資訊參數，該生理條件資訊參數係對應一目標心跳值；該偵測單元係即時偵測使用者之心跳速度，而產生一心跳指數；該控制單元可接收個人生理條件資訊參數及心跳指數，並比較所接收的心跳指數與一目標心跳值而產生一提示指令，該顯示單元係根據該提示指令產生一安全指示訊號，以藉此提醒運動中的使用者隨時調整運動強度，以適合本身體能狀態。
