PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implanted electronic implement detection apparatus which can prevent a patient from being subjected to MR photography or CT photography by using the thoracic X-ray image data to determine whether or not the image data indicates an implanted electronic implement, if the electronic implement such as a pacemaker body is implanted in the thoracic region excluding the field of the lung, particularly the right lung of the patient.
SOLUTION: The implanted electronic implement detection apparatus 30 comprises an image data input part 31, a wiring region extraction part 32, a line image detection part 33, an implanted implement-determining part 37, and an alert output part 38, wherein the image data input part 31 inputs a breast X-ray image data 301, from which the wiring region extraction part 32 extracts a wiring region in which the lead line of an electronic implement is wired the line image detection part 33 detects whether or not the image data of the wiring region shows the line image of the lead line and, if it is detected that the wiring region show the line image and if the implanted implement-determining part 37 can determine that the image data indicates the implanted electronic implement, the alert output part 38 produces an alert signal 302 to output.
