The device (1) has a case to be held in a cavity formed on the cranium of a human or an animal. An electronic circuit (4) is positioned in the case to process signals e.g. neural signals. A system of electrodes is coupled electrically to the electronic circuit. A signal transmission sleeve (6) extends from the periphery of the case, and is made from a flexible and biocompatible material. The sleeve includes a transmission antenna (8) and a remote power feeding antenna (7), which are coplanar and positioned such that one of the antennas is contained within the other antenna. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an implantable device such as neural interface, for processing signals.
