PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular occlusion device having a narrow external-shaped and a simple configuration for blocking the blood flow of a target site blood vessel and facilitating the operation.SOLUTION: The vascular occlusion device includes: a flexible tube to be inserted into a blood vessel a wire to be inserted into the tube and a balloon forming part attached to a distal end of the wire. The baloon forming part is formed into a substantially onion shape as a whole by disposing 4-8 arcuate steel wires with elasticity at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The surface of the onion-shaped part is formed with a balloon covering the surface excluding a part in the opposite side of the wire.
