ПРИМЕНЕНИЕ N-СТЕАРОИЛЭТАНОЛАМИНА КАК СРЕДСТВА С ПРОТИВОГРИППОЗНЫМ, ПРОТИВОВИРУСНЫМ ДЕЙСТВИЕМ, АНТИНЕЙРАМИНИДАЗНОЙ, ИНТЕРФЕРОН-ИНДУЦИРУЮЩЕЙ И АНТИГЕМАГГЛЮТИНИРУЮЩЕЙ АКТИВНОСТЬЮ И СРЕДСТВО ДЛЯ ПРОФИЛАКТИКИ И ЛЕЧЕНИЯ ГРИППОЗНОЙ ИНФЕКЦИИ
The use of N-stearoylethanolamine as a substance possessing anti-influenza, antiviral activity, agent possessing antineuraminidase, interferon-inducing and antihemagglutinating activities for prevention and treatment of the flu infection relates to medicine, namely to the virology and infectious diseases, and can be used for prevention and treatment of influenza.The use of N-stearoylethanolamine as the substance possessing anti-influenza, antiviral activity has been demonstrated in MDCK cells (canine kidney cells) (depository of cell cultures of the laboratory of experimental chemotherapy of viral infections, PI "L. Hromashevskyi Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the NAMS of Ukraine").The maximal tolerable concentration, minimal active concentration (relative to flu virus) and chemotherapeutic index values suggest that N-stearoylethanolamine is the active anti-influenza substance.A composition possessing antineuraminidase, interferon-inducing and antihemagglutinating activities based on N-stearoylethanolamine for prevention and treatment of the flu infection caused by H1N1 virus may be used in intranasal and injection forms. The index of anti-flu efficacy of NSE is 100 % at a dose of 0.2 mL 10M in therapeutic mode of treatment and 0.2 mL 10M in prophylactic mode of treatment. N-stearoylethanolamine is an effective home-made substance useful for prevention and treatment of the flu infection. The mechanism of its activity consists in blocking the surface glycoproteins of influenza virus, inhibiting its neuraminidase activity and inducing gamma- and alpha-interferons. The substance prevents the atypical proliferative activity of the cells.
