PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fish-gathering effect in gathering fishes by utilizing the illumination of light.SOLUTION: This method for gathering the fishes is provided by illuminating the light having directivity from a light source 1 to water surface W. A deep incidence region B in which the incident depth of the light into water becomes deeper, is formed at a further far away direction than a shoal of fishes F formed by the gathered fishes.
