An object of the present invention is to provide an ultrasonic probe capable of simple and reliable puncture of a puncture needle with respect to a subject.In the probe body 12 of the ultrasonic probe 3, a positioning recess 30 is provided on the extended line L 0 of the ultrasonic transducer array 25 and on the edge portion 20 a of the transducer mounting surface 20. On the side face 22, a plurality of probe side engaging portions 28 to which the puncture guide attachment 14 can be fixed is provided. The puncture needle guide portion 34 of the attachment 14 is provided with a guide groove 33 formed with an opening 41 for introducing the puncture needle and a bottom portion 42 for contacting the puncture needle. The clamping fixing portion 36 of the attachment 14 is provided with a plurality of arm portions 35 in which a plurality of attachment side engaging portions 37 are formed. The insertion angle of the puncture needle is adjusted in multiple steps by changing the position of the bottom portion 42 by changing the engagement position of the attachment side engagement portion 37.被検体に対する穿刺針の穿刺を簡単かつ確実に行うことができる超音波プローブの提供を課題とする。超音波プローブ3のプローブ本体12において、超音波振動子列25の延長線L0上かつ振動子設置面20の端縁部20aに、位置決め凹部30が設けられる。側面22には、穿刺ガイド用アタッチメント14が固定可能な複数のプローブ側係合部28が設けられる。アタッチメント14の穿刺針ガイド部34には、穿刺針を導入する開口41と穿刺針を当接させる底部42とが形成されたガイド溝33が設けられる。アタッチメント14の挟持固定部36には、複数のアタッチメント側係合部37が形成された複数のアーム部35が設けられる。アタッチメント側係合部37の係合位置の変更によって底部42の位置が変わることで、穿刺針の挿入角度が多段階的に調整される。
