PURPOSE: A rapid cultivation method of leafy vegetables is provided to water culture the leafy vegetables after mixing desalted deep sea water and a nutrient solution, and to produce the leafy vegetables containing functional substances by controlling cultivation environment. CONSTITUTION: Deep sea water is repetitively circulated for twelve times a day. A main light source is an LED, and irradiates vegetables with light for 24 hours. A cultivation bed with five stages is formed by installing a multistage structure. Energy needed for plant photosynthesis is provided for 21 hours. The temperature of a cultivation room is maintained at 22-23 deg. C, which is the optimum growth environment for the leafy vegetables. The LED is formed into a 30 cm-long bar shape.LED를 주광원으로 하면서 해양심층수를 활용한 식물재배장치에서 양액은 담액식의 방식을 채택하여 다단식의 재배구조물을 만든후 엽채류를 식재하여 재배하고 하루에 21시간을 식물광합성에 필요한 에너지를 공급함으로서 식물광합성시간을 증가시킴으로서 속성재배의 실현을 이우었음.
