A method and a device for metering a medicament, preferably a liquid, areproposed. In order to achieve an improved metering accuracy, a first componentmanufactured in batches, such as a shaped seal, is combined with a secondcomponent, such as a delivery tube, of a matching group, the matching groupbeing selected as a function of at least one decisive significant magnitude ofthe respective batch and being characterized by an essential magnitude of thesecond component, so as to achieve an optimum seal between these components.
