The present invention also relates to an azomethine-type direct dye of the formula (I) below； and its use for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair. The invention further relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibers comprising such a direct dye in a suitable dyeing medium. Similarly, the subject of the present invention is a method for dyeing keratin fibers using said dye composition, as well as a device comprising said composition.
